Lehmann Maupin @ Circolo
Jessica Kreps
Lehmann Maupin announces its new seasonal space in Milan, opening April 12, timed to the opening of both Miart and Salone del Mobile, and ahead of the 60th Venice Biennale Foreigners Everywhere, which will include gallery artist Kim Yun Shin. This space marks the gallery’s first physical location in Italy and follows the success of recent pop-ups in Aspen, Palm Beach,
Taipei, and Beijing. Lehmann Maupin Milan will be housed at Circolo, a non-profit organization spearheaded by Nicole Saikalis Bay, located on 48
Via della Spiga, near Giardini Indro Montanelli. The exhibition will be on view through June 21, with a group presentation featuring gallery artists Hernan Bas, Loriel Beltrán, Mandy El-Sayegh, Todd Gray, Alex Prager, and Nari Ward. Nearby, Ward’s retrospective exhibition is on view at Pirelli HangarBicocca through July 28, 2024.
