Milano Art Week is a week dedicated to art, promoted by the Municipality of Milan, coordinated by the Associazione Arte Totale—comprising ArtsFor_, Artshell, and MAC—Milano Art Communityin collaboration with miart and the city’s leading public and private cultural institutions. Throughout its previous editions, through hundreds of exhibitions, performances, installations, talks, screenings, and widespread displays across the city, Milano Art Week has reaffirmed Milan’s artistic vitality, solidifying its position as an international cultural hub.

Now in its ninth edition, Milano Art Week returns from April 1 to 6, 2025, to explore the world around us, fostering questions about the present and future. It is a platform for artistic expression and critical reflection, encouraging intercultural dialogue and participation.

Participate

Milano Art Week, to be held throughout the city between April 1 and April 6, 2025, is open to contributions from anyone interested in proposing projects or initiatives related to the art world. Proposals must be submitted by Wednesday, March 5. Initiatives of an artistic, exhibition, performative, educational, editorial, or didactic-formative nature may be presented.

Applicants must declare, under penalty of inadmissibility, that they recognize and respect the principles, rules, and values of the Italian Constitution, republican and antifascist, which prohibits any form of discrimination based on sex, race, language, religion, political opinions, personal and social conditions.

The proposals will be evaluated by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Milan and the Associazione Arte Totale, who will assess the quality of the proposals and their alignment with the objectives, purposes, and themes promoted. The assessment will be carried out periodically, in chronological order of submission, based on the content of the proposals and considering the clarity and completeness of the information provided by the applicants.

The following proposals will not be considered:

Proposals held in locations outside the Metropolitan City of Milan;
Proposals that are not consistent with the theme of the program;
Proposals with predominantly commercial content;
Proposals that are formally or substantively expressions of fanaticism, racism, hatred, or any form of harm to human dignity.
