Carlos Gasparotto's 'Banana' exhibition for CONDOMINIO expands on the themes already explored in the book of the same name, released in October 2023: the motivations and consequences behind political measures, such as the so-called ley chorizo law that in 2010 threatened the right to strike and demonstrate throughout Panama. The project is not just a critique, but rather an in-depth reflection on the history of Western consumption and the intricate consequences of our market choices. Outside the pages of the book, for the first time, 'Banana' takes shape in a storytelling narrated in the CONDOMINIO space through printed images and branded graphics, evoking the product itself and its fascinating industrial history.
