Gardenia is the leading Italian monthly for gardening and garden culture. In 2024 it celebrates its 40 years with a special exhibition of the original illustrations which have appeared in the magazine since its first issue in 1984 and which are one of its most distinctive features. Visitors will be able to discover how a botanical illustration is made and admire original works by the many renowned Italian and international artists who have contributed to Gardenia: cover artworks, botanical plates, drafts and sketches for garden and terrace design, and the exquisite watercolours which grace the Gardenia Diary published every year.
