Starting from the Belgian-born artist and fashion designer's studies and prototypes on the theme of the set table, the two artists and food designers stage an affective and intimate ritual in which conviviality is understood as a free and fluid attitude of connecting with others. An ideal dinner in which the five guests seated around a table become actors and spectators of a scene in which inanimate objects, Pierobon's ceramics, and edible sculptures, Alessandra Pallotta's, become devices to generate unexpected choreographies. Between the container and the content of what is laid out on the table, the threshold is always blurred: plates-paintings, glasses-mouths, onions-chains, hands-ashtrays form a whole with the bodies that consume them.
