TRIENNALE MILANO
Nico Vascellari
Falena

April 15 - July 2

Outside Triennale Milano, Nico Vascellari's Falena is a monumental installation whose form resembles that of a sun. It is made of four overlapping tiers of gold-plated sickles, mounted radially to form a big circle that is two and a half meters in diameter and resembles the sun's beams.
With its shapes, it recalls and incorporates the different symbologies inherent to the image of the sickle, the sun, the moth which themselves allude to agricultural activities, rituals, magic, and the divine. The installation will enter the Triennale Collection.

TUNNEL RELOAD

Curated by Christian Gangitano (asXPO), in collaboration with Elisabetta Bianchissi (T12Lab), Luca Rossetti (B-Cam), Vincenzo Salvi (COOP Comin), Casa degli Artisti Milano

In this second phase (reload), the via Padova’s tunnel is renewed, after the first “Travel Diary“ gallery created by the Argentine artist Pablo Pinxit, it presents a new artistic intervention in the railway underpass (both street sides, with a view to recognizing and enhancing urban art forms such as poster art - paste-up, its ephemeral nature in continuous evolution with the territories where it is positioned and which clearly expresses what the via Padova tunnel (and the Tunnel Boulevard project ) wants to be: a place in which to express and experience a dimension of public, social, regenerated space.
