Opening of the exhibition with the exhibition of works by Gianpietro Carlesso, an artist born in Bolzano in 1961, who lives and works in Cormons. Carlesso hand-sculpts intricate abstract compositions with an organic shape, carving them from a single piece of marble. Tactile and large, yet delicate and impactful, these impressive sculptures demonstrate the importance of material and process, showcasing the true mastery and skill of the artist. In 2008 he represented the city of Milan at the Venice Architecture Biennale with the monumental work Equilibrio Dinamico Della Città in Divenire.
