Vulci. Goods for manking. Goods for gods is dedicated to one of the most dynamic cities of southern coastal Etruria, a strategic center in the trade routes between Etruria and the Mediterranean. The pivotal theme is artisnala production, with particular attention to the influence of imports from the eastern Mediterranean on the activities of local workshops. The exhibition guides visitors through the history of this ancient city, retracing significant historical events, from Vulci's origins to its ultimate subjugation to Rome. Foru works by Giuseppe Penone enrich the exhibition, maintaining a strong dialogue between ancient and contemporary art, a distinghuish feature of the Fondazione.
